Mission Overview

In its inaugural international mission, United Hands of Hope (UHOH) embarked on a transformative initiative in the Central African Republic (CAR), aimed at strengthening the region’s healthcare and technological infrastructure.

This was organized by the CEO of United Hands of Hope, Dr. Harrisson Gilbert. This mission marked a key milestone in UHOH’s commitment to bridging critical gaps in underserved communities through strategic donations, diplomatic engagement, and cross-sector collaboration.

One of the mission’s highlights was the donation of technological devices, including laptops and tablets, to institutions in need.

These tools will directly support health workers, students, and administrative personnel by enabling better data management, communication, and access to medical resources.

The donation is expected to:

  • Enhance digital health record-keeping
  • Improve communication between rural clinics and urban hospitals
  • Support educational programs for health trainees and students
  • Enable data-driven decision-making in public health policies

UHOH’s intervention comes at a critical time as the CAR continues to rebuild and recover from systemic challenges in its healthcare delivery systems.

This mission marks only the beginning of UHOH’s engagement in the Central African Republic. Plans are already underway to expand collaboration through:

  • Medical equipment donations
  • Training programs for healthcare personnel
  • Continued diplomatic engagement for regional health policy development

The CAR mission demonstrates UHOH’s ability to operate with agility, integrity, and global vision.

By pairing humanitarian support with diplomatic strategy, UHOH is paving the way for lasting change in the communities that need it most.
